This high-concept experiment only proves that a comedy actually can have too much Michael Keaton.

Whacky to be sure and pretty out there, but I enjoyed it A LOT! Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Simon G The most Michael Keaton thing Michael Keaton could do. I LOVE it. Don't sleep on this movie and let any negative reviews steer you away. Keaton's acting as different versions of his character is flawless. It's the whole reason to watch this movie. Great comedy watching the 4 "Steve's" different personalities. Please do yourself a favor, and enjoy a fun time watching this film. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/24 Full Review Terese L I absolutely loved this movie but only gave it 4.5 stars because comedies are more lighthearted than serious 5-star films. But as a comedy I would give it five stars. In my opinion this is a very underrated film. Michael Keaton does an amazing job of playing three distinctly different Personalities, the main character and his two clones. Keaton is an overworked construction manager who needs help and gets approached by a client to do a cloning experiment, which succeeds hilariously. Harold Ramis was masterful at quirky comedy as a Director, and this film is no exception, and writers included the talented duo of Lowell Ganz & Babaloo Mandel....And the plot is just great fun, as Keaton's wife (Andie MacDowall) gets mixed up with all three of her husbandd's selves. It's a great supporting cast with Eugene Levy among others, and just a really nice job of showing a realistic and caring marriage, apart from the cloning of course. I first watched it in theaters when it was originally released, I own it on both DVD and still have my old VHS tape, and I probably watch it at least a couple times a year because it still just totally cracks me up. The nuances of performance deserved more attention at the time, but in retrospect it has stood the test of time, and I still just bust up laughing when I watch it. This comedy is in my stack of go-to feelgood films right up there with Overboard, Moonstruck, Six Days Seven Nights, Parenthood and The Family Stone. 😎 Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
